Who is Clasly for?
Tutors and small teaching businesses. It works the same whether you teach 1 to 1, in small groups or in full classes. Each student or group gets its own class.
How do I get started?
Create an account with your name, email and a password. We email you a code to confirm your address, and you can set up your first class straight away.
What does it cost?
£19.99 a month for one plan with everything in it. Your first 30 days are free and you do not need a card. You can cancel at any time.
Do my students have to pay or install anything?
No. Students use Clasly for free. They join your class with a code, a link or a QR code, and can hand work in from a phone browser.
What kind of work can I set and collect?
PDFs, images, documents, presentations, spreadsheets and more, up to 100MB per file. Students send work back the same way, and you mark it and release grades when you are ready.
How do invoices and payouts work?
You build an invoice in Clasly and send it to a student. They pay by card on a secure Stripe page, and Stripe pays your earnings into your bank account. You verify your identity with Stripe once before your first payout. Invoices can be in pounds, dollars or euros, for tutors based in the UK, US, Canada, Switzerland and the EEA.
What does Clasly take from an invoice?
Nothing. Clasly does not take a cut of your invoices. Standard payment processor rates apply to invoices paid online. If a student pays you another way, you can mark the invoice as paid and there is no fee at all.
Can I cancel or refund an invoice?
Yes. You can cancel an unpaid invoice, which switches off its pay link. An invoice paid online can be refunded in full back to the card it was paid from.
Is there an app?
Clasly runs in the browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. There is also an app for iPhone and iPad.
